Okishima cherry trees on Lake Biwa start blooming around mid-April every year.
Kaizu-Osaki, the northernmost point on Lake Biwa, is famous for its cherry blossoms. The rows of cherry trees along the long road facing the lake are beautiful!
However, in season, it is very crowded with many tourists💦.
Grand Cruise Lake Biwa recommends the cherry blossoms of Okishima Island on Lake Biwa in this season.
Okishima Island is not accessible by land.
So even in high season, you can enjoy a private view without crowds!

The boat charter will be extended for an additional time, but the boat can be anchored near the cherry blossoms for food and beverages.
